The Diploma in Liturgical and Sacramental Theology offers a profound exploration of the theology, history, and practice of Christian worship through the lens of the Anglican and Afro-Episcopal tradition.
This six-course diploma program provides both academic and spiritual formation, guiding students into a deeper understanding of Word and Sacrament, the heart of the Church’s worship and ministry. Rooted in the catholic and apostolic heritage of the faith, this program emphasizes the sacred balance of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason, while celebrating the rich liturgical expressions of the African and global diaspora.
Students will learn to interpret and lead the rites of the Church with theological integrity, historical awareness, and pastoral grace.

Program Completion
To earn the Diploma in Liturgical and Sacramental Theology, students must:
Complete all six courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Submit a Liturgical Practicum Portfolio, including the design and theological commentary of a full Eucharistic or sacramental celebration
Participate in an optional faculty-led oral practicum presentation
Admission Requirements
A demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and ministry
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred for clergy track)
Ability to study independently in an online format
